The two man extravaganza that is Outroads: Geoddy edition (that would be Geoff and Eddy!) are taking to the road in Germany for a non-stop tour in January and Febuary 2010. The dates are all in the GIGS section, but for all the Outroads fans in Germany who have been requesting for the band to tour there again, you can see the boys in action at the following Venues:

Additional to the main activity of the band, Geoff & Eddy are taking to UK Venues with a unique two-man reworking of Outroads classics! Always aiming to keep the band’s fans entertained with new interpretations of tracks from the album and EP, Geoff and Eddy have taken Outroads material, as well as additional music and created a set list which will grasp newcomers to the music in venues large and small. Intimate and expressive, Outroads are a band which, once heard, attract loyalty and emotion from listeners.
As well as a new LIVE DVD on sale and an ever evolving website, Geoff & Eddy are on the road at a venue near you as everyone eagerly await the release of the new album, “The 1st and 2nd Line”, due for release in 2010!

Finally we have arrived at the Launch Party for the OUTROADS: THE DOG & LANTERN DVD! This is your first opportunity to get your hands on the very first batch of this remarkable DVD. We promise you, this is worth the wait, and this is how live band DVD’s should be done! Intimate, entertaining, and a portrait of a band who love the music they perform.
Intercutting between a small acoustic adhoc gig at a local Irish pub, with the grand setting of the amazing Lantern Theatre, this DVD captures Outroads in two unique locations, up-close and personal and in fine form!

OUTROADS KARAOKE! Featuring Karaoke versions of tracks from the DVD, Karaoke will be running all night for those who fancy stepping into Geoff’s shoes and showing the band what you are made of!

To mark the event, Outroads have teamed up with the mighty Wignap Records team for a DVD Launch Party like never seen before at Trippets, on Trippet Lane, Sheffield….on the night of the 18th. The band will be asking some of their favourite artists to play some live sets, there will be competitions to win copies of the DVD (and much bigger….more on the night!)…OUTROADS KARAOKE!!!….and much much more. Free entry and open to all.
It will be the launch party to end all launch parties, have some great fun, some awesome music, a drink or two, and it’ll your first opportunity to pick up a copy of the DOG AND LANTERN DVD!!!! The DVD will hit Billy’s Online Shop the day after and selected major High Street retailers (the one with dog!).

Copies purchased on the night might just come with a little added something you wont get through regular purchase!
